Summary: Not so satisfied at all.
-at arrival girl at reception barely spoke English, this is not normal? Even if Ankara is not a tourist city, still you should speak English in case foreigners stay at the hotel.
-they gave me a room right next to the restaurant. Had to cover my windows with towels to have enough privacy to take a shower or sit on the toilet without someone seeing me. Windows very thin so you can hear the restaurant/people passing all the time. Not nice.
-one morning between 8.00 and 10.00 AM there was no electricity- they just cut it?
-another time there was no water - they just closed it?
-1 time instead of tidying my room they just put a bag with water and slippers. AT LEAST make the bed?
-last night they put a super hot heater next to my room outside, it was like a sauna in my room and couldnt sleep for hours!!! It was also SUPER noisy!!!
They DONT think about the comfort of the guests!!!
They are just UNprofessional in general.

Summary: This place is swanky looking, but superficially immaculate and stylish. For example, it looks clean but horrors lie beneath - see the underside of the slippers provided, pictured below. A dirty floor. See also the napkin pictured: while eating breakfast in what appears to be a pleasant garden room, I noticed some dirt on a tomato. I rubbed it - see the picture of the napkin. The other tomatoes were the same. Dirty salad. That put me off breakfast. I pointed this out to the staff but their English wasn't great, or they weren't concerned (nobody took the bowl of tomatoes away to be washed). I thought I best stick to peelable things - a boiled egg, a banana. I tried some oats, but they were stale. There was less hot food on offer than other places I've stayed - no egg dishes, only borek and a tinned tomato stew. The only good things were the muffins, genuinely fresh, simple and homemade - perhaps because it's cheaper that way - do you see a theme? However you can't do the high end this place wants to be on a budget... The double glazed windows on my room were poorly fitting - street noise and drafts came through and around them. The light switches, in cheap grey plastic, are already having problems. The taps in the bathroom have been poorly fitted - the basin goes one way for hot, the shower the other. And, um, why is there masking tape on the inside bathroom door handle? Could it be no-one is paying attention? (oh, more and pics won't load - go to Google maps to see).
