Located 50 minutes from Antalya airport, our apartments in Side (pronounced Sid-ay, and the undoubted jewel of Turkey’s Turquoise coast) and will make a fantastic base for your holiday. Set amid long sandy beaches, this ancient Roman town with its magnificent temples, amphitheatres and harbour, is one of the major historic attractions in this remarkable country. Side Garden itself is set in a quiet neighbourhood close to the town and beach. However, even here you are never far from the bars, restaurants and shops that give Side its wonderfully exotic atmosphere. As you walk its ancient streets, soaking up the atmosphere, sampling the local produce and exchanging banter with the locals, you will get the unmistakable sense that you are in a very special place. Top this off with year-round sunshine, brilliant night-life, top-class cuisine and and activities to satisfy every taste, and we think you agree that Side really has it all.

Car hire is not essential at Side, since everyone catches the cheap and frequent local buses to get around. including into the ancient part of Side. The beach is a 15 minute walk away across rolling sand dunes, though minibuses run to and from it every day. The old town is also 15 minutes away by foot but, again, there are frequent buses.
Side Garden sits in a new residential area, set slightly back from the old town. It is a very friendly neighbourhood, where you will quickly become recognized by the locals and greeted like an old friend. Side Garden itself is also a very friendly site, where you will find always someone to chat to around the pool and or at the bar, and where people are quite likely to invite you over for a drink on their terrace.
Attractions: There are many bars and restaurants in the locality, and a big part of the fun is trying them out and finding your own favourites. Popular local ones are the Hawaii Bar and the Corner Bar. The Hawaii is an open-fronted bar/restaurant that boasts a big screen for football matches etc. and very friendly staff who have a habit of performing Turkish dances at half-time.
Although it is flanked by two super beaches, Side is far from being a beach-only resort. Whilst there, you are ideally placed to visit archaeological sites of world heritage status. You can also play on one of the top-class golf courses at nearby Belek or visit the Taurus mountains where you can go white-water rafting or go skiing or, take an excursion to natural wonders of Pamukkale or Cappadocia. The list of possible activities goes on and on - but whatever your taste, our local English-speaking tour operator/managing agents will be delighted to arrange it for you.
