Summary: We booked a room on the new wing that does not have an elavator (which was clearly stated by the hotel), the room was a nice size and clean. We had the highest room that came with a balcony but sadly it rained while we were there so we didn’t use it. The nice things about the Union Port was it’s location. You are 3 minutes from the tram, 10 minutes walking to Karabatas Ferry Port and we could walk to Taksim and Karakoy. (40 minutes) The next best thing is the staff, especially Sam, he was always friendly and helpful. He arranged for our luggage to be brought up and down the room. For the price, it is a decent choice to stay at the Galata area.
