Summary: Amazing surroundings pool and restaurant . Seems to me all the emphasis is at the restaurant where the food and staff are amazing,well done . The hotel not so much im afraid . I booked a delux plus room for a 50th birthday celebration and messaged the hotel a couple of months in advance with a request for a nice room and to make it extra special, was literally given the worst room in the entire resort., next to reception and by the side of a road with lots of traffic and generator noise all day all night . Others have also mentioned this room being bad in other reviews. We was disappointed to say the least . Complained to reception but they said they were fully booked and to try again tomorrow. The next day we tried again but the expected us to pay to upgrade to another room. Kept saying there fuly booked but didn't see more than a handful of other guests around.I'm sorry to say there is no personal touches here , no warm welcome no one to bring luggage to room , no one to order drinks from around the pool, no mangers on duty to speak with, its such a shame as the gardens and surroundings are stunning. For the price they are charging you expected a certain standard and it missed the mark completely. Better to just visit the restaurant and stay somewhere else , sorry
