Positive: We stayed at Maywood Hotel, sister hotel to Hotel Sapphire (which had been closed by the Municipality prior to our arrival). Rooms are very small but clean and comfortable. Includes a good buffet breakfast. Really good location, walkable to River, spice markets, Blue and pink mosque and The Grand Bazaar.

Negative: Small rooms, otherwise everything else OK. Would have like to stay at Hotel Sapphire (not Maywood Hotel) which came recommended.

Summary: Great Location and good Value in heart of Isatanbul
