Summary: Homeros Guesthouse is located in an attractive and peaceful suburb of Selçuk, just five minutes' walk from the centre where many restaurants and shops are to be found. There are also a couple of cafés within a few steps of the hotel. The views across the surrounding landscape are splendid. Although there is no dedicated car park, there is ample parking in the streets immediately around. The host family are extremely welcoming and speak English. Breakfast costs extra (€6 in July 2025) but is absolutely worth the price, with a diverse spread of fresh fruits, cheeses, breads, jams, honey, tea, and more. Payment is by cash on; no cards. Wi-fi was functional. The décor is dated, but in a quaint way that makes the rooms feel more charmingly traditional than run-down. There were a couple of minor issues in need of attention (both bedside lamps in our room were broken, and the insect screens on the windows had many large holes torn out) but overall everything was clean and we enjoyed our stay very much. We would certainly stay here again.

Summary: My friend and I had such a lovely stay at Homeros Pension & Guesthouse!! It’s an old building so nothing fancy if that’s what you’re looking for, but it has a lovely homely feel to the place as the photos show. The owner is super kind and welcoming, and the rooftop is great to catch the sunset. It’s a 5 min walk to the bus station and there’s a good little coffee shop a few metres away.

Summary: Way, way too much stuff so it’s dark and dusty. The bathroom doesn’t have a real door. We found a roach on our last evening. That being said, it’s a nice location near Ephesus, you can leave your car on the street in front.

Summary: Family owned guest house with the most lovely staff. Only downside would be the cramped bathroom with temperamental showerhead. But otherwise beautifully decorated, good value accommodation.
