Summary: Really good stay at the Bayou Villas. Beautiful rooms. The food was good but didn’t blow us away but still very good. Got sick one day but that could have been off site. The rooms was gorgeous as it was new—outside of the hotel grounds it’s not amazing and much of the grounds are set back from the ocean. Pool in our villa was unheated but when requested they did heat for us which was important because it was warm but not hot when visiting. The best part of the hotel was the service. Literally you could ask for anything and you’d have it almost immediately it seemed. Food, drink, whatever it was. They were unbelievably attentive. Probably the best hotel service I’ve ever had. Overall I would come back. Good value for money even though it is pricey. Modern and again great service and very nice staff.
