Tamarindo, Flamingo and the up and coming Portreo are a fifteen and ten minute drive away. And for the adventurous there are the volcanoes to visit and sit in the volcanic mud, there are rain/cloud forests and rivers to experience the extraordinary flora and fauna of Costa Rica. We had a couple of ladies from my village in Mallorca go to Nicaragua for the day with a tour company at the Westin.
