Summary: This place was marvelous. It’s even better than the pictures make it look. Don’t hesitate. Book now. It’s be a yearly retreat for us if we didn’t have to pay for airfare to Costa Rica too. The manager lives next door and is super helpful as she understands the area well, and even runs her own coffee shop down the road from the house. If you rent a vehicle, make sure to get a 4x4. We went in the rainy season, and in addition to navigating potholes everywhere (not on the property, but on the roads leading to it), we had to drive through a lot of mud and even water rushing over the road in some parts. Don’t let that hold you back though. The property is beautiful, and on some days you’ll struggle to choose between staying at the house vs. going to the beach.
