Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Perfect location for all tours, as it is directly across from the primary boat stop, and a short walk to the rest of the town. Beautiful area, surrounded by gardens. Scenic and private view of the bay from our balcony. Short steep steps to access room, which is common here. For birding, there are nice free walking trails nearby that many guides trek. Nice air conditioning in bedroom (none in bathroom with open windows). Nice hot showers. Excellent service and friendly, helpful staff. They can book all your tours ahead of time. Very clean. Handy water refill station, as water in room is not drinkable. We liked having a mini fridge. Breakfast was typical local food, with excellent coffee, served as early as 5am. Their Italian restaurant is pretty well known as one of the best in the area.

Negative: Only issue for us was the bed mattress was extremely soft and too saggy for us.
